MEPC first became involved in Noma in 2017 when the project was owned in a Joint Venture between British Telecom Pension Scheme and the Co-operative Group.
The project needed a class leading development manager to take forward the new build development programme.
MEPC were formally appointed in late 2018 following a buy-out of the Co-op share by BTPS and MEPC set about revising the masterplan around a strategy to create a new city centre business district set within high quality public realm.
Utilising MEPC’s experience in place-making within a city centre environment and lessons learned from the successful development of Wellington Place, MEPC have now set out a strategy for the site that prudently manages development risk and creates the potential to achieves returns to match those achieved at Wellington Place.
