Wellington Place has immediate and direct access to Leeds’ Inner Ring Road and the national road network beyond. The A1(M), which begins minutes from Wellington Place, connects Leeds with London, Milton Keynes, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield and Newcastle. The nearby M62 also connects Leeds to Liverpool, Manchester, the M6 and Hull.

For car commuters, Car Share Leeds has been set up to provide a free car sharing service for people who live in and around Leeds.

Leeds is a bike-friendly city.

The Leeds City Council Bike Buddying service offers cycle route mapping, road safety advice and an accompanied bike ride from home to the office. The council also produces bike maps for the Leeds area.

Sustrans is a charity that works on projects to encourage people to walk, cycle, or use public transport rather than a car. It is an excellent place to find routes and information about cycle networks, not just around Wellington Place but across the UK as well.

Wellington Place is 7 minutes’ walk from Leeds City railway station, offering connections to a huge range of destinations all over the UK.
