Simon Hegele Logistics and Service Ltd based at 161 Milton Park are very proud to announce their success in winning the NatWest large business category in the 2012 Oxfordshire Business Awards.
The category was for companies that either employed more than 25 employees or had a turnover of more than 5 million pounds and could demonstrate the following:
• Business growth
• A commitment to the local community including local job creation
• A written business plan demonstrating strategy and vision for the next 3-5 years
• Proven success and achievement during the past 12 months
• Management with the ability to drive the business forward
• A genuine commitment to staff
The award was collected by the Chris Lima (UK Branch Manager) and Fabienne Hector (Deputy Branch Manager and Senior Key account manager) at the awards ceremony held at the Four Pillars hotel in Oxford.
Fabienne Hector opened the UK branch of Simon Hegele Logistics and Services Ltd in Milton Park in 2005 with 22 employees, Chris joined the branch in 2007 and over the years the team has grown and developed and is currently standing at 69 members.
Their expertise range from supplying the smallest and largest parts of MRI scanners to Siemens production lines. When manufactured their team of installers deliver and install the MRI, X-ray and CT scanners into hospitals, and their radiographers train hospital staff how operate them effectively.
Once the scanners have passed their life span they de-install them and when applicable deliver the scanners to their colleagues in Germany for refurbishment and re-sale.

This award is in recognition of the fantastic achievements created by tremendous commitment from every member of staff in 2011. Achievements included attaining ISO 14001 & 18001 as well as AEO accreditation all in one year, whilst increasing staff numbers by 50%, working with local charities and much more.
Simon Hegele Logistics and Service Ltd is not resting on its laurels and is continuing to set itself stretching challenges in 2012 to ensure that the growth continues, they remain the partner of choice for their customers as well as employer of choice for their team of employees.
