Mentoring for Hillington

MEPC Hillington Park are now official partners of Scotland’s fastest-growing Chamber of Commerce – Renfrewshire, of course!
Alison Clark of MEPC has joined the Chamber Board as its latest Director. “We think it is important for the Chamber to be a recognised business asset to companies based at Hillington,” she said.
With membership now at 550, there is never a quiet day at Renfrewshire Chamber, based at Glasgow Airport. The Chamber reached the final of the 2011 UK Chamber of the Year, won a national award for the first Chamber iPhone app in Europe – now available on Android – and was a finalist in Renfrewshire Council’s Quality Awards.
One area that they are keen to develop is the Business Mentoring service, which helped 150 companies in the last year gain access to a free business mentor.
Business Mentoring is available to all companies (subject to eligibility criteria), available now in three formats: 1-2-1, Groups, and a new format called “Take Three”, which allows three people to be mentored together, either all the from same company or from separate companies.
Chief executive Bob Davidson said: “The Business Mentoring Programme is a partnership between Scottish Chambers and Scottish Enterprise. European funding allows us to offer these sessions to you at no charge. For more info on mentoring, please contact us on 0141 847 5458.”
