Big thank-you

Collectors from the Hillington office of the British Red Cross were out in force during first week of May – not least receiving welcome support from patrons of the estate’s Retail Centre.
Local organiser Gemma Carroll said: “We would like to say a big thank-you to all the generous people who made a donation during our Red Cross Appeal Week. The British Red Cross helps vulnerable people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. Donations from the public make a huge difference and enable us to be ready to respond to emergencies.”
Thanks in particular went to Hillingtonbased companies DCS Utilities and Panalpina World Transport, who have also signed up to do a Dress Code Red day.
“It couldn’t be easier,” explained Gemma. “Simply use the posters, stickers and materials in the Dress Code Red pack to encourage staff to wear red for the day and make a donation to the Red Cross.”
