Apprenticeships: The Simple Facts for Employers

This 60 minute free breakfast seminar is for busy business people based at Chineham Park who want to understand what apprenticeships are really about.
Delegates will have the opportunity to ask a local apprentice employer about their experiences, tips and benefits achieved from their apprenticeship programme. Practical questions such as How much do I pay an apprentice? and What if my apprentice isn't fitting in with our business? will be answered by the apprenticeship team from Basingstoke College of Technology. Local HR expert, Karen Sanders, will also be giving some common sense tips on recruiting and managing an apprentice. Throughout this informal seminar (and afterwards), there will be plenty of chances to ask your own questions.
Refreshments and a bacon sandwich will be provided on arrival, before the 60 minute seminar starts. The venue is right in the heart of Chineham Park, so delegates won't have far to travel.
The event takes place on Tuesday 17th July, starting at 9.00am till 10.15am at 8 Elmwood, Chineham Park, Basingstoke, RG24 8WG
