Location

Granta Park lies 7 miles to the south of Cambridge beside the A11 trunk road which leads directly into junction 9 of the M11 to the south, and the A14 to the east.

The Park is located at the heart of the South Cambridge Technology Cluster, close to some of the most important centres of research in the UK including Cancer Research UK and the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology both at Addenbrooke's Hospital, the Wellcome Trust at Hinxton Human Genome Campus and Babraham Biosciences. On the Park itself TWI offers specialist advice in materials and joining technology.

Three simple, attractive, flexible buildings of office, workshop and laboratory space enabling small and medium sized companies to locate on this world-class science and technology park.

Each building has been designed to split into six separate units; two on each floor with the range of science unit size from 2,500 sq ft to 4,500 sq ft. Whole floors and a series of floors can also be accommodated for larger companies. Building A, facing south, and Building C, facing north, have been designed with solid floors at ground level and can be fitted with loading doors at the rear. First and second floors in A and C and all floors in B are raised. Planning consent allows fume extract systems in Building C to accommodate full laboratory activity.

Phase Two is a 15 acre site that will be able to accommodate up to 330,000 sq ft of laboratory and scientific space. It signals a new stage in the development of a science park which is considered to be the foremost provider of R&D space in the Cambridge sub-region.
